For 16 years, President and CEO of McElhanney, Canada’s oldest surviving consulting engineering firm, founded in Vancouver in 1910.
Chaired Boards of ACEC British Columbia and ACEC Canada, and Board member of FIDIC for 4 years.
Climate Change is my greatest concern, transcending all other issues affecting our industry and the world. As CEO of McElhanney I introduced a policy of purchasing a hybrid vehicle fleet and office waste recycling. While living a modest life, with relatively low personal carbon footprint, I have not so far participated in any major initiatives related to climate change.
