Jeshika is a champion for the role of infrastructure development in achieving the SDG’s and for enhancing the circular economy through the Built Environment. She is passionate about serving the profession and the growing the technical body of knowledge toward sustainable infrastructure by holding leadership positions such as observer member of the Sustainable Development Committee of FIDIC, member of the Ethical Advisory Board for the LEAP-RE programme (to establish and jointly implement research , innovation, and capacity building activities on renewable energy) between Africa and Europe; and as past Chairperson of the Environmental Engineering Division of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering.
Jeshika serves several local and international engineering and business organisations, chairing and supporting Board Committees in promoting sustainable engineering, diversity and inclusion and presenting papers and speaking about sustainability and the environment.
