Civil Engineer with over 50 years of experience in international project management, contracts management, and alternative dispute resolution. He is the Founding Chairman and CEO of SPCastro & Associates Sdn Bhd (Brunei Darussalam) and SPCastro, Inc. (Philippines), both project and construction management & consultancy firms founded in 1986.
Recently, in line with the FIDIC International Contract Users’ Conference 2021, he was awarded as Highly Commendable Trainer of the Year 2021 during the virtual Awarding Ceremony held on 09 Dec 2021.
He was Project Director of Guinness Book of World Records' biggest residential palace- Istana Nurul Iman of The Sultan of Brunei Darussalam. His landmark projects in Brunei earned him the Presidential Citation (Pamana ng Pilipino Award) for Filipino Individuals & Organizations in 1998, electing him as a Fellow of the Association of Project Management (UK).
