He is the Founding Chairman and CEO of SPCastro & Associates Sdn Bhd (Brunei Darussalam) and SPCastro, Inc. (Philippines), both project and construction management & consultancy firms founded in 1986.

Recently, in line with the FIDIC International Contract Users’ Conference 2021, he was awarded as Highly Commendable Trainer of the Year 2021 during the virtual Awarding Ceremony held on 09 Dec 2021.

He was Project Director of Guinness Book of World Records' biggest residential palace- Istana Nurul Iman of The Sultan of Brunei Darussalam. His landmark projects in Brunei earned him the Presidential Citation (Pamana ng Pilipino Award) for Filipino Individuals & Organizations in 1998, electing him as a Fellow of the Association of Project Management (UK).

Mr. Sachin Maskey has an MTech in Environmental Engineering specialising obtained from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT Nagpur) of India. He has over 12 years working experience in public health engineering projects and is accredited by ERB, Botswana (Engineering Registration Board, Botswana) as a Professional Engineer.

Mr. Sachin Maskey is a civil engineer and an environmental engineer with multi-tasking experience and has worked for several organizations which include a firm of chartered quantity surveyors, a town council, consulting engineers and an urban public health authority. In this period, he has designed and/or supervised public health engineering infrastructure projects, comprising storm water drainage, sewerage and water reticulation and water and wastewater treatment works project. He has prepared construction tender and contract documents and evaluated tender submissions. He has also acted as the Employer’s Representative in the project management of multi-disciplinary capital works and in the process liaising with consultants, contractors and financiers. In this capacity his role has been the application project management knowledge areas to ensure maximum benefit for the Client.

Mr. Maskey recently completed his assignment as the Senior Civil Engineer for Molepolole water and Sanitation and Thamaga Water supply distribution network project. He is an Associate with PMI (Project Management Institute) having acquired a Certificate in PMP® (Project Management Professional). He has been a Project Manager for various infrastructure projects including, water supply, Sanitation and storm water drainage. He led a team of more than 5 professionals in the disciplines of civil/structural engineering, water and wastewater engineering, quantity surveying, electrical and mechanical engineering.
