Andrew Read (BE (Hons) Electrical, FEngNZ, CMEngNZ, CPEng, Int PE)

Andrew is a Director of Pedersen Read Ltd, a consulting electrical engineering firm based in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Andrew is Chair of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC)’s Business Practice Committee and is a Board Member of CEAS, a risk and liability advisor to the consulting engineering sector.

He is a past board member, past president, and an Honorary Life Member of the Association of Consulting and Engineering New Zealand (ACE NZ)); ACE NZ Awards judge and past convenor of judges; past member and past Deputy Chair of the Chartered Professional Engineers’ Council of New Zealand; and past board member and past President of Engineering New Zealand. Andrew is a Fellow and Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand, a New Zealand Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) and has been a consulting engineer for 35 years.
