FIDIC Training Manager

I am civil engineer with +15 years exp. I have a good experience in construction
projects management , Alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and
mediation & DABs , contracts management multimillion projects.
Having a good legal background that affect the construction industry in
Jordan and in Mena Region with a lot of contractual , technical connections
within Jordan and outside Jordan.
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and delegate responsibility
between the project team to meet time-lines and budgets.
Knowledge of FIDIC, Conditions of Contract and Tender procedures,
negotiations, contract agreements and project costs including generating all
correspondence, letters and contractual communications . Preparing Budgets
and Financial Reporting , Preparing procurement policies and documents ,
Establishing and monitoring Project Management procedures and processes

An enthusiastic Chartered Civil Engineer, Construction Law Expert and FIDIC Contracts Specialist with 33 years of experience in feasibility studies, detailed design, procurement, contract management and construction supervision of dams, irrigation infrastructure, housing/property development (roads, stormwater drainage, water & sewerage reticulation) and water supply projects. Holder of an MBA, MSc in International Construction Law and Diploma in Construction Disputes Adjudication, Fortune has a passion for technical, legal and commercial aspects of international dams and irrigation infrastructure projects, and has worked with Government Departments, Consulting Engineers and Contractors in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Swaziland and Mauritius. He is the Founding Director of ACE Engineers Ltd which specialises in offering feasibility studies, detailed design, procurement and construction supervision services for dams, irrigation infrastructure, water supply and agro-processing structures.
He is an Affiliate Member of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) and active member of FIDIC Group of African Member Associations (GAMA), a Chartered Civil Engineer and Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (U.K) duly registered with the Engineering Council (U.K) and the Council of Registered Professional Engineers of Mauritius. He is a Licensed Dispute Board Practitioner and Professional Member of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF), Member of the South African Irrigation Bureau, Member of the Association of Project Managers (UK), and Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration.
